You know how I like art with a nature journaling bent :-)

Was it Ammon who requested a free muskrat as a suggested improvement to the Moleskine Exchange experience? Too bad he bowed out of Round 2... we could have all drawn something muskrat in his book as it came 'round, ha ha!henniemavishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14934462150609422816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256991403049450428.post-45493771300054823072009-08-16T16:01:20.789-07:002009-08-16T16:01:20.789-07:00Thanks so much Steve and Emily. Thanks so much Steve and Emily.Mary Stebbins Taitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10626507461216769140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256991403049450428.post-18442047972295742252009-08-16T12:11:06.580-07:002009-08-16T12:11:06.580-07:00hahaha these are funny drawings and so cool and cr...hahaha these are funny drawings and so cool and creative

love it :DEmilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00601864889201911444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256991403049450428.post-15497822276151325512009-08-16T09:36:08.578-07:002009-08-16T09:36:08.578-07:00Wow, you hit the ground running Mary!!Wow, you hit the ground running Mary!!stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03034670240484466808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256991403049450428.post-21200395984741547022009-08-15T05:41:37.599-07:002009-08-15T05:41:37.599-07:00Thanks so much Aya. Biology and nature and skulls are passions of mine. These were done freehand and not as precisely as I would have done them if I were doing a real biological illustration, but just for fun. They were done "from life" (or maybe I should say, "from death," that is, from a real skull and not from another drawing or photo. (I have a fairly extensive skull collection.) I am going to print a picture (photograph) of the skull I used and include it in the pocket.Mary Stebbins Taitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10626507461216769140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256991403049450428.post-57640242750401740912009-08-15T00:12:34.069-07:002009-08-15T00:12:34.069-07:00wow! those skulls are beautiful.
