You couldn't have known, b...Oh WONDERFUL, Mary! You couldn't have known, but I'm totally enthralled by the ongoing debate over whether or not Ivory-billed Woodpeckers still exist or are extinct. They're extremely similar to Pileated Woodpeckers, so claimed sightings of the Ivory-billed are usually thought to be Pileated.<br /><br />That whole controversy has captured my imagination. I would SO love it if Ivory-billed Woodpeckers exist somewhere...
