In Ash's Pocket: The Snipe Hunt
This is an illo for a poem that I wrote for National Poetry Month. If you are interested in the poem, it is here. The illo was made from the painting in Ash's mole.
First off, I love how you incorporated the snipe into your original work. The way it curves around the eye is perfect. Secondly, your poem is wonderful! The words, pacing, rhythm - makes me wanna try it again myself. Sleep - so close yet so far away sometimes. Beautiful work Mary!
