I love the second spread so much, I almost overlooked the great drawing of the hotel sign.
The second spread almost feels like day/night versions of the same doodle, but on closer examination we realize they're actually different. It's a nice spread to ponder how things may seem the same but are different, or things that at first appear radically different share similarities. Just a great meditation, really.
And I think the collab for Mike is actually great. There's some bleed-through, but personally I'd view that as a challenge to either work into a piece or cover creatively, so I'm going to look forward to seeing what Mike does with it.
