Mary in Aya's: Q is for Quetzal, J is for Jaguar

Q is for Quetzal, Quetzalcoatl, and quail, J is for Jay and Jaguar--these are acrylic sketches in Aya's book.

I have to do the first half of a collab and a pocket item and I'll be ready to mail to Gretchen.

Lowering sky

Aya's Moleskine skipped Gretchen and came to me and will return to
Gretchen later. This is "Lowering Sky," a collab with Roma. There
was a little red spot that looked like blood and I made it into an
insect.

Gretchen's Moleskine on way to Roma

Roach Hotel! I have no idea how this manifested itself into the Moleskine Exchange... It just happened.

A peaceful Medusa

Andrea Martinez (color) and Mike Kline (Black & White) Collaboration. Meant to be four hungry baby birds waiting for Momma to bring breakfast, but someone asked why are there hungry piranha in a birds nest...

Black crow crack me up! I love to sit and watch these funny creatures.

Hello ... Hello ...

Just checking in, how is everyone?
In case you didn't see we started the round 4 discussion on Mike's last post.

DON'T WORRY.
I absolutely will not start another round until everyone has their book back.
I learned my lesson on that one.

I will entertain new ideas for the next round though, always.

I am wondering of one of you would like to take the helm for the next round?
Be the big boss? Help keep things rolling.
I still want to keep the exchange happening, but I don't know how good I am at keeping things rolling. I have a new day job, with less time to do personal creative things throughout the day. It is a bit of a bummer, but I like the work better. So there is that. I haven't won the mega millions yet, so I have to keep that pesky day job.

Did y'all know Stephanie started her own exchange? She was gracious enough to let me join. Have y'all peeped it? http://rhodiajournalswap.tumblr.com/ She provided the journals for everyone, isn't that cool? I wonder if I could make that happen next round. Hmmmm.

Anyway, just checking in on y'all, providing a space for entertaining round 4 thoughts.

HOWEVER, we are still knee deep in round 3. Anyone need anything from me? Thanks to those of you who have been emailing back and forth trying to work out solutions to keep the books moving and avoid pile ups. You are the bees knees!

I am shipping Roma's book to Mike tomorrow, early/late depending how you look at it.

Thanks for being here, each and every one of you.

Ballookey in Roma's

I don't know where my brain is - I totally space-cadet forgot to post pictures of my drawings in Roma's book. I just downloaded the photos off my phone and saw them, so here they are.

I'm most happy with the last one and I'm going to keep trying at these - I love drawing in white on black! :)
