Process

Here are two of the pix BB took of me working and two I took myself. The last one shows the two-page spread of the "finished" images (sketches). I like to work outside, but don't always have all the pens and pencils I need out there, so I tend to go in and out.

I absolutely love, I mean love, those mushrooms! Great work!

Thanks so much Mike! I really appreciate it.

The mushrooms had a weird beginning. I had a bit of a hassle doing a chore for BB and I wrote him a note telling him how it has "mushroomed" into an ordeal and various people liked the little sketch and told me to do another so I did. I chose the Amanitas because they are so colorful.

Thanks for showing your process and telling your details. I think it is awesome that you can work outside. When I am drawing I get up constantly even if I have everything with me.

...and great image!

Thanks, Ammon!

I LOVE working outside when the weather is nice. Fresh air, birds at the feeder, sunshine. YAY! I feel more relaxed outside.
