pages 5 & 6 on Mary's book

I started working on this over a week ago on the train, but then the book and everything got delayed because I got really sick. I'm starting to get a bit better now after a visit to the Dr. a couple of days ago, and some antibiotic (sadly, the legendary chicken soup didn't do the trick this time).
But I'm glad it's finally done! I'm going to make something for the pocket today or tomorrow and send it out after the weekend.

I'm so sorry yr feeling depressed and that you were sick!!!

I'm so glad you put some of your famous birds in my book--I love them, and also the color!!! YAY!

I hope you feel 100% soon.

Love this art! I just did a similar piece in Ellen's book on being depressed (haven't had time to photo yet). It's about "falling down a well" which is quite rare for me emotionally, but hey, it happens sometimes. I'll try to post it soon... you have friends in low places, ha!

Meanwhile, chin up, girly...

Absolutely beautiful - as usual. The rich blue of the background is perfect for the tone of the piece.

I love the way you continued it onto the next page.

The layout is super.
