Sorry these images are a little wacky, my good camera is in the shop. :(
Have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine!

These are really cool, Andrea, nice color and linework! Very evocative. I miss film too--sort of! But the IDEA of it is great. :-D

Awesome stuff Andrea! I am continually amazed by your diversity of skill.

If anyone does not know, Andrea has a photo blog that is well worth spending a weekend going through:

I really, really like the way you drew the building. Awesomeness.

Excellent Andrea!! I was thinking of doing some gluing and collage as well in some Moles. I love the top drawing, as well as the photos here. The beatbox artist had to be a blast to see and hear- takes me back when I was heavily into that stuff. Now I want to go and find some cd compilations to purchase of that stuff (they are available). I like the Michael Franti negatives too! I recall seeing him open for U2 at Three Rivers Stadium in 1992, when he was in the industrial rap act, "Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy". We used to listen to that cassette all the time back in school.

It seems all the hotels in Reno are missing letters in their signs. I am thinking of doing a Reno sign in everyone’s books.

Thanks Mary!
Ammon, you are too kind!
Ian, I sued double stick tape.
Steve, MF is one of my favorites. Very cool guy.
Milo, thanks!

Oh, SWEET! I can't wait to see this!

I've been missing film too... I actually busted out my old totally manual crappy film camera and tried to shoot a few rolls... it was so funny because I kept waiting for it to do certain things automatically, and then I was like... "oh yeah. I have to actually know what I'm doing with this thing."

One roll came out totally blank... that was kind of embarrassing. :D

I did the EXACT same thing--got out one of my old SLRs and pumped some film through it and forgot to do all kinds of things! AIeee. Then you have to drive somewhere and develop it--I have a darkroom, but the chemicals are all bad now.

Yeah, a motel sign series would be great! We always get a kick out of signs with missing letters.
