A week away from the sketchbook, and the computer, as we have been on holiday in the Isles of Scilly. Just before we left, the page below was finished, and just after our return I drew a re-do of an old favourite above.
12 impromptus was drawn whilst listening to Mahler's 1st, Sun Ra 'The Magic City', Malcolm Arnold's 5th & 6th Symphonies, and Faust 'IV'. Not deliberately reacting to the music though - just a soundtrack.
