Another for Hennie's Pocket: Piran Alley

I still don't have a mole--I'm sure it will be here soon, but meanwhile, I am practicing for when it does get here, with gouache. I painted this with gouache on yellow paper, but I made a print of it to put in Hennie's pocket because it is too big to fit in. I painted it from a photo I took of an Alley in Piran, Slovenia when we were on our honeymoon there. Unless we have another delay, Hennie will surely have the fattest pocket of anyone. Thanks o much, Steve! YAY! I like it myself. But I am mailing it to my daughter to frame with the one from Sardinia. I may attempt a grand canal one to make a set of three.

The pockets are smaller than they look, I had to really trim some of my pix to fit them in.

This is GORGEOUS, Mary! I am loving your gouache paintings in general :-)

...and I'm sorry, but I have to respond to: "Hennie will surely have the fattest pocket of anyone."

Hennie is known for her fat pockets. (Seriously, I have a pan of bar cookies in the oven right now, I swear it's true.) It's a constant struggle. HA!
