Cute Character! :-D

Can you taste the cherries? I got some cherry beer but you can barely taste the cherrries. I was disappointed.

I could taste the cherries, but it's subtle and not sweet really. For cherry flavor, the best I've had is Fruitesse from Brouwerij Liefmans in Belgium. I've found it in the cold beer section of Whole Foods here. The beer is blended with cherry, bilberry, elderberry, strawberry, and raspberry juice and then aged for 18 months on cherries.

Personally, when I read that, I thought it would be horrible, but it's absolutely delightful. Sweet, but not overly sweet, and definite flavor of cherries. I would grab a bottle anytime I see it, but it would be particularly nice beer in the summer.
