Egg tempera for Andrea's pocket

Biker Buddy
homemade
egg tempera on "artboard" (cardboard)
I don't know how well this will travel, but I'll try it.  I made the paint from French earth pigments and egg-yolk.  My daughter brought the pigments home from France.  Keith was talking to a friend and not sitting still.  I did not make a sketch first, but just painted right on the artboard with the paints.

Pocket item for Andrea's Mole: Abstract with 5 buttons

This is a collaboration with my Granddaughter, Rachel Taitt, who chose the colors and applies the first paint. I smeared it with a palette knife. Inserted buttons. Artrage, on iPad, digital. I got the buttons online. This is a 5 x 7 print on matte photo paper. I dedicated it to Kathy E from Novi, because I enjoyed her work--I do not mean to imply that my first attempt holds a candle to hers! Click image to view larger.

I am also working on a 2 page spread. I was very happy with it last night, but unfortunately, right after being happy, I blobbed it up--so now I am remediating.

tiny bit of silliness for Andrea's pocket (Coloring page)

This is about ATC sized on regular plain paper. For Andrea's pocket.

I was playing with the new metallic pens I just got for my collab with Gretchen (I hope they are right!)

The first is a scan and the second a photo trying to show the metallic sheen.

In Andrea's Pocket

I made this 4.5 x 6.5 sketch of BB at dinner tonight with metallic Sakura Permopaque pigment pens on a textured purple card.  The white pen didn't work well, so I used a pastel pencil to add white and since all the colors were about the same density, I shaded a little with a black colored pencil.  What you can't see in the scan is the metallic sheen.  I was trying them out for the first time--never used them before.  Click to view larger.  (You really have to see the texture.)

Fractal for Andrea, ID and pocket item

Here's the fractal I made for Andrea's pocket and the ID I made from
that fractal for her ID page. This is one of three IDs I made. The
other two are a little more mundane.

This one is my guide license for Dream Shamanism--for guiding people in dreams. You can click the image to view it larger, though the print size is only about 2 x 3 inches. (license size), The name given is Marialita. That is my guide name in Meardth. (I am NOT little, it is a sort of joke, but also refers to my inner child who is more capable at dream navigation than my adult self.)

This is a small gestural sketch in crayola marker brushed with water in my small watercolor mole. I made a print for Andrea's pocket.

HAPPY MAYDAY!

Another for Andrea's pocket

Since I know Andrea likes both photos an art, I am putting a print of this in her pocket, LOL! The model and my latest painting of him. Click to view larger. I painted this in my painting class without looking at K or at a picture of him, just out of my head--it was an exercise.

Egret for Andrea's Mole (Pocket)

I haven't gotten the next mole yet and am feeling a bit eager, so I made this painting for the next person, who I think is Andrea, and I am going to print it (4 x 6) and save it to put in her pocket. It IS Andrea next right?
