Really fantastic stuff Mike. This had to take quite a while I'd imagine. It looks like a wood or lino cut to me too. This is funny, 'cause I was just watching me some Discovery Channel which had all kinds of creepy crawlies (the program was about caves).

WOW! I love this, Mike! SUPER. I had been thinking of doing a follow-up, strike, to the "poised" one. But you've done it so well. This would make a GREAT linocut! I love it LOTS!!!!

I've got Jessie's book. I'm half-way done with it.

By the way, my husband, BB (otherwise known as Keith), says he feels deeply honored to "be a part of this exchange if only as an observer." He thinks you all are WONDERFUL and loves seeing your work in the moles themselves and like me, feels sad for the ones we'll miss. He always wants to see the moles when they arrive and again before they leave and sometimes int he middle and examines them minutely and carefully.

I know he would love this piece, Mike. I sure do!

I'm glad you can make it big, it was fun looking at it closely! :-D

Thanks Steve!

Mary! I am glad you like it. Thanks for the inspiration and such a fun subject to try. I am sad that I am almost done with Johnny's book and have to let it travel back to the UK. I can't believe we are at the end of the rotation. I have had so much fun!

Now that you've done this, i may attempt a linocut based on our two pieces. this is super! I'm trying to decide the colors and layers.

I so want to try woodblock and lino! Time is the excuse, but I know it would be rewarding... Have fun!

Way to get your collab on. This gives me a thought. I am not sure I want to get into a theme for round two, but maybe sometime in the future.

The owner could create something and everyone else would have to do "their version" of that same work somewhere in the book.

Hmmmmm

I like it! In their style and the way they see it. YES!

Mike, I would LOVE to see you do some linocuts--it would SO suit your style. You might find it doesn't take any more time--well--not that much more, anyway, unless you work really fast.

Andrea, I think that sounds like fun. We might want to make it optional, though.

In case someone has a "super" pages spread like A few that I've seen this time around that took all the pages.
