Hey Anders, these are all incredible man. With the oil spill coverage, I can't help but see some birds "hidden" in these. In particular, I see what looks to be a pile of dead sea birds in the second one down, as well as a pelican (?) carcass immersed in oil in the fourth one down (looks closely at the lower-to-middle left side). Whatever the case, it's always great to see your work.
Well, I definitely wasn't thinking birds, but the oil spill has certainly been on my mind with all the visuals from it swirling around in my head lately.
Oh man, those two in the middle with the blue/yellow wash almost killed me. I started on it, spent about an hour making all those little lines, saw that I only had about a 10th of the page covered and thought "Oh dear god, what have I gotten myself into?" There was no backing out at that point though. I'd committed myself to filling the whole spread with that technique. Almost as bad as the time I started on a fairly large piece shading it with stippling using a tiny little pen.

The second one looks like an old woman's face but maybe it is an abstract that works like a Rorschach.

The middle ones with blue wash on them are my favorites... but the first one, it makes me hungry for fortune cookies :-)

It does look like a really lot of work! I've fone that too, with the stippling!
