INSOMNIA again, for WIllie's "pocket"
I did this at dinner tonight, in marker. It will be included int he packet of stuff for Willie. Yoo big for his little pocket, so I will send it to him.
I absolutely love what you did with Splotch monster 294 and the clouds --all those clouds--and The girl leaning on the tree. You must have take away the comments things--which is a smart idea. Save a lot of time.
I did fall asleep in 3 seconds, then about 2 hours later, my eyes just opened and I wasn't asleep at all. I don't think I had a bad dream but woke up is serious dread of life, the future and everything...
This image made me laugh (tho insomnia is NOT funny). I just read 2 Billy Collins' poems on insomnia. In one, he equates it to a child vigorously riding a squeaky tricycle in circles at a steady pace, never stopping.
The electric colors & wide-eyed imagery in this seems to go with that, I think.

I really like this a lot Mary. the colors and lines are great! I could see this as a large painting even.
Thanks so much, Steve. I think this is 9 x 12, but a painting might be more fun and interesting than markers, maybe--I might like to try that. :-D
(It was slightly too big to fit on the scanner).

Thanks so much AYA and Hennie! You guys rock! I had fun with this--though I don't have fun with insomnia!
Hope you get rested and feel better, Aya!
