Nice circles--love the naked lay with boxing gloves.
I have to say that I just received Jessie's Moleskine today and I LOVE your work in it! Everyone's work is WONDERFUL! It's so good to see the actual books, to hold them in my hands is a treat!
fantastic work, Andrea! yeah, I like the boxer too. Mary, that'll be your last mole!
btw, I see moleskine are producing an A4 range of their books called ''folio'', for sketchbook, watercolour, and notebook. The notebook is plain and is FSC paper which, I understand, is an eco-friendly paper but not as rough as recycled paper - I'm wondering if it is softer paper than these sketchbooks, maybe like cartridge paper! worth looking into. The range is due out in UK on 26th march.
There is also a smaller watercolor book, I have one of those--the same size but a different format from the ones we're using. And with white paper. I don't know how many pages. I know I said it before. The binding is on the narrow side.
I haven\t seen any of the larger ones yet. (Actually, I think I saw one ONCE and never again . . . ) I'll keep looking.
We could. We could let people drop out if they wish and add a couple of new members. I plan on getting another one going in 2009, so if any of you want to go again, just let me know.
I would love to have any of you that want to tackle the project again and I'd like to add some new members.
Maybe when we all get our books back we can see how many pages are left thus figuring out how many folks we could have join us.
I think if would be fun if we did an even number of pages each and arranged it so that we always stopped with a blank facing page so that the pictures could interest IF DESIRED (no obligation). Sometimes it worked that way and sometimes it didn't--it was often really fun when it did.
(I have to admit that I still worry that I am not good enough to be in the group with all you REAL artists.)
Oh, and yes, I'd be happy to keep going, but first use up all the pages in these Moles before starting a whole new one. then I'm cool with whatever books you wanna use, or we could simply use whatever type of book we prefer, if that works.

Okay! I normally don't box women, but I am willing to have a go! Great set! I mean the drawings of course...

do you get A4 in the US? - I think we had this conversation before. It's just over twice the size of the moleskine we've been using.
We do! Okay - everyone get one and we will start year 2...

Do they have enough pages?

Are we going around again?

Mary, there's 96 pages - same as the ones we've got. the plain paper notebook has 176 pages, obviously lighter paper.
I see there's also an A3 size - 4X the size of the one we're using!
I love the idea of a bigger size! And white paper. I haven't seen them anywhere yet. I'd like to get one to play with.
I'm kind of interested. In going around again.

Spectacular work Andrea! just got the book too - so cool seeing these in person!

I am loving that chick in boxing gloves!
And I'm open to going again!
Andrea! Count me in...
