entities (in heidi's book)

When I do these exchanges, more often than not, I end up doing some type of series in each person's book. I call these drawings "entities", though I'm not sure why. I could come up with some elaborate, pretentious explanation concerning the theory of why these were made, etc. - the kind of stuff they usually try and get you to do in Grad level classes or for an exhibit, but the truth is, these were simply line doodles with little faces.

These are really fun, Steve! I love the little faces, each one different.

Harlequin Mimes. Secrets and fantasies.

Nice.

I love them! For images which started so simply, they sure got complex as they aged. Don't we all, HA! At least your beings are clearly black & white. I'm not only getting more complex as I progress, I'm getting gray as well!

Heheh! The grays are starting to show in my beard, unfortunately, the hairs on my head are disappearing. Anyway, so glad you like 'em Heidi!

Yes, love them... and can't wait to see which Splotch Monster will be in my pocket.

I'm struggling not to beg for a "Vinyl Monkey" reproduction (on a smaller CD, that would fit in my pocket?)... aw shoot, I am begging after all. Did you already ship my book to Mary? Pleeeeease? (How embarrassing. I broke down & begged for art.)

These are so very cool - the type of art around which one designs a whole interior. :)

Cool! And thanks for reminding me Heidi!

Thanks Ballookey! maybe I should make 'em into prints.

Maybe if I completed a few of these it would get me back into the swing of wanting to doodle and draw again. I just might give it a try Steve, thanks for the much needed inspiration!
