slogging along

Here's what I just finished in Ian Russel's mole:

Sorry for being late again, again...
This next time I will be as loose and fast as a whore on Aurora Avenue.

I need some loose drawing... I just got finished shooting a convention of rock/art screenprinted posters that are as meticulous as can be and I'm all anxious and edgy from it. (Even though I'm inspired.)

Take care everyone! :)

Yeah, these are looking really good Jess! love the style going on here. Loose can be difficult for me I know. i really stink at portraits too, so I admire anyone who can pull 'em off like this. I saw some of your pics on Flikr and how lucky you were to get to see such work. I know going to art exhibits really get me charged as well. Next month I'll be hitting up a zine fest in VA as well as the SPX (Small Press Expo) in Maryland, and I know I'll be feeling the same way as you described yourself here. Can't wait!

Geez guys, thanks!!

I like these portraits more after not looking at them for so long... putting art away definitely helps. :)

Steve, a zine fest?! That sounds so cool. I don't know if we have one in Seattle... I've been thinking about writing one myself for a while... but I have... *ahem* other projects to work on right now. :D

Mike and Mary, thank you!!

I can tell y'all these are even more gorgeous close up! Bravo Jess! I really like the brown paper you've patched on, it makes them very layered.
