I haven't received Claudia's round 3 book yet, so I don't have any artwork to post. I am working on the drawings now so that I can paste them in when it arrives.
In the mean time, this is a stamp I had made to use in the exchange. I always either forget to sign my pages, or I just plain don't want to because honestly, I think signatures ruin the piece. Sometimes I'll write my name really tiny in the crease, but more often I just don't. I thought maybe if I could design my signature to work in with the art, then maybe I'd use it, so that's where the idea of this stamp came from. I'm really happy with it and can't wait to use it. I allowed myself one freebie stamp on a scrap page to test it. Now I have to wait for a book to indulge. ;) I think I'll pick up a few different colored ink pads so that I can co-ordinate the color with my work.
Cheers and happy drawing!

Very cool stamp! I'd love to make some. Used to enjoy doing linocuts, so I imagine the process is similar. Plus, rubber stamps are way too expensive to buy!
Claudia is one of my recent Flickr contacts, and I've seen her amazing works in her own journals. Has anyone heard from her?
The stamp is GREAT! :-D Hope you get to use it soon!
Thanks!
I have heard from Claudia - she emailed me to let me know she hasn't forgotten about the exchange, so hopefully things work out soon and we can get rolling. I'm so excited to start round 3...
What a great idea. I am with you, signing the front of a finished piece is hard for me.
