Funny! Looking at this piece I said "Stunning." I then saw the other two postings here. BOLD...

Thanks, everyone. My girlfriend got me into Copic pens and markers and I got a nice set of black ones in all the different sizes. The combination of having a big, wide, black marker along with knowing that it's refillable so I don't have to worry about using up all the ink (which is ridiculous, but I think I've spent enough of my life with pens and markers that I'm worried about running out that I remain instinctively stingy) has been freeing. Being able to easily fill large areas of black has got me trying to think about the composition in my drawings more like I would with paintings. The subtle, but important difference between thinking in terms of black lines on a white background vs just thinking in terms of areas of black and white.

Not to sound like a broken record or anything, but the first thing I thought when I saw this was STUNNING and the second was BOLD and graphic!!! It is oddly both a departure and a continuation. EXCELLEnt WORK! I really like it.
