Self Portrait on Indian in Gretchen's

I was inspired by Andrea's portrait of me in my motorcycle gear to do a self portrait on an Indian. In 1964-65 (I'm giving away my age here, if you didn't already know it), I owned a 1949 Indian. This is not it, but an older one I used for the art. I have, believe it or not, NO pictures of that amazing motorcycle. But I had fun--on the bike(s) and on the art. I did the piece in metallic markers, but you can't tell in the scan.

I have one more to do in Gretchen's mole and then will be able to send it off--and have it started (but not finished. I'm sorry I am late. Too many deadlines and too much going on this month.

This is fantastic! Really great SP Mary.

I want to ride a '49 Indian. Or any Indian for that matter.

I love the vantage point of this self portrait! I am amazed at the versatility you exhibit with regard to viewing angles in your work. It's fun to see things thru your eyes :-)

Thanks, Andrea and Hennie! I have one from below, maybe I should do that one next. LOL!

Sorry Andrea that I don't have it any more and in fact haven't had it since 1965, unfortunately.

I could let you ride my Triumph Tiger or my BMW single--but that wouldn;t be the same.
