Waiting for my Folio
Until my new A4 folio arrives...
I completed a painting this past Saturday for an upcoming group show at a local community theater. The show is entitled "In Unison" and once I was accepted to be a part of the exhibit, I immediately knew that I wanted to create something with the show's theme in mind. From concept to finished painting. (Painting yet untitled.)

Very cool. Fun colors! Makes me want to dancy. At the same time, quite peaceful!
Thank you Mary and Aya!
Yes, beautiful colors, and your images remind me of fertility for some reason. :)
I just picked up my A4 today. Yay!
definitely look like fertility symbols, great for the dark months!
I like how your feet are kicked up there in photo, gives us a real sense that you are patiently waiting.
I hear music, "We can dance if you want to, we can leave your friends behind, cause if your friends don't dance and if they don't dance then there no friends of mine." We can dance, we can dance... Nicely done!
Mary & Roma - Fertility Goddesses? :o) To me they represent freedom... transformation... discovering a sense of self.
Diff - I'm sitting on the floor waiting patiently for the paint to dry. I don't currently have a studio, so I often paint in the kitchen. This time I spread everything out and worked on the floor.
Mike, Lol! Safety Dance.............
I love that you work on the floor! I work in my car (waiting between appts.), on a train/plane, outdoors, on the couch in my lap, or on any flat surface that's available ("Honey, can I use your back?" just kidding). For me, creativity is more a matter of finding the right time, not the right place :-)
And btw, I thought of menstrual cramps when I saw this. You can probably guess why (TMI, ha ha).
Hennie - I too just work wherever. My fav places are on the living room floor and on the porch. With all the snow... porch time is limited. And I love what you saw in the image.. never dawned on me!
