We got Snow in our Boots (Round 3)

This is the piece whose sketch I ruined and had to do over. I did it without references--I do better with references, but my computer was unavailable.

(At least I am feeling a little better today.)

This is a nice series. :) Have you ever tried using salt on a watercolor wash to make snowflakes? Your winter scenes are inspiring me to make one again. That was a trick I remembered from school.

I've never tried that for snow! I did in summer sand scenes for sand, got a nice sandy texture. WIll have to try it, but on test piece first, LOL!

Thanks so much Andrea and Mike! My grandson is two months old now! I'm writing him a book. 3 books. Need to get going. Takes a which to create a book!
